Yessi Agustina is a seasoned communications specialist with over 17 years of experience in strategic communication, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.  She has a proven track record of developing and executing impactful communication strategies that drive sustainability, community engagement, public health, and environmental conservation.

Throughout her career, Yessi has collaborated with renowned international organizations, including UNICEF, The World Bank, the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), the Zoological Society of London, The Samdhana Institute,and the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs. Her expertise in crafting compelling narratives and fostering meaningful partnerships has been instrumental in advancing critical global initiatives.

Currently serving as Head of the Communication Department at Nusantara Climate Initiative (NCI), Yessi plays a pivotal role in shaping the initiative’s messaging, strengthening its brand presence, and fostering strategic stakeholder relationships. With her extensive experience in communication and leadership, she spearheads the development of strategies that align with and amplify NCI’s mission—to preserve Indonesia’s natural ecosystems, promote sustainable practices, and empower local communities.
