Kasraji Mustari is a highly experienced Forest Management Specialist with nearly three decades of expertise in natural forest management, timber estates, community forestry, and sustainability certification. His extensive career spans strategic planning, High Conservation Value (HCV) and High Carbon Stock (HCS) assessments, Reduced Impact Logging (RIL), and traceability systems, all of which contribute to sustainable forest management and responsible resource utilization.
Before joining Nusantara Climate Initiative (NCI), Kasraji played a key role in leading forestry initiatives with prominent organizations, including PT Acces Centra Karya, PT. Tanjung Redeb Hutani, PT Global Forestindo (Integra Group), PT Narkata Rimba, PT Belayan River Timber, and The Forest Trust-Earthworm Foundation. His work focused on developing and implementing forest management systems, certification protocols, and community engagement programs to ensure long-term environmental and social sustainability.
As Area Division Head at NCI, Kasraji leads the on-site planning and implementation of operations, ensuring compliance with sustainable forest management standards and regulations while fostering collaboration with multi-stakeholder networks. His deep expertise in landscape-based forest management, human resource development in the field, and community empowerment enables him to drive transformative, on-the-ground sustainability practices.
With a steadfast commitment to responsible forestry, and certification compliance, Kasraji champions the integration of sustainability principles into forest operations, ensuring that NCI’s projects meet rigorous environmental and social standards. His leadership plays a crucial role in advancing NCI’s vision, strengthening the link between forest management, community well-being, and climate resilience.
