Asep Taufik Hidayat is a highly experienced forestry and environmental management professional with over 17 years of expertise in sustainable forest management, regulatory compliance, and biodiversity conservation. His extensive background includes long-term forestry planning (RKUPH), annual planning (RKT), and serving as a liaison in various sustainability programs. He has been instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance, developing key species conservation programs, establishing biosphere reserves, and implementing biodiversity conservation initiatives.

His expertise extends to program implementation, monitoring, verification, and evaluation, covering budgeting, reporting, and impact assessments. A certified fire management specialist, he is also skilled in environmental licensing analysis, including AMDAL, UKL-UPL, certification processes, and other regulatory obligations.

Asep has played a key role in the development of ecosystem restoration concessions (PBPH for environmental services utilization), ensuring that conservation and restoration efforts align with national regulations. His work also includes the preparation of Mitigation Action Plan Documents (DRAM), the implementation of safeguard policies, and the compilation of Mitigation Action Achievement Reports (LCAM) in accordance with regulatory frameworks.

Currently serving as Department Head of Audit and Compliance at Nusantara Climate Initiative (NCI), Asep leads efforts to ensure adherence to environmental policies, sustainability standards, and legal frameworks across all operational areas. His leadership plays a key role in strengthening governance, mitigating environmental risks, and reinforcing NCI’s commitment to responsible and sustainable land management.

With a strong foundation in forestry, conservation, and environmental governance, Asep continues to contribute to the advancement of sustainable land management practices, ensuring the long-term resilience of Indonesia’s forests and ecosystems.
